CPR Classic is elated to offer this immaculate 1987 Porsche 911 G50 Carrera factory M491 wide body example presented in Grand Prix White over a Belt Burgundy leather interior. A two-owner car since new, this rare factory-wide body Carrera presents in original concours level condition today and no stone has been left unturned in the car's lifetime preservation and maintenance. Of the 62 US M491 Coupes in model year 1987, 12 of the 62 were Grand Prix White and of those 12, just 2 were optioned with burgundy interior.

This example was delivered new in Beaumont Texas and resided with its original owner in Beaumont, for over 30 years. The car traveled just under 28,000 miles with its first owner and then was sold through a high-line exotic dealer in Texas to its second and most recent owner in Colorado. The car has spent the past 5 years in Colorado being meticulously pampered and prepared for concours events. Just before being shipped to CPR the car won its class at the Colorado Concours d'Elegance by scoring a 231.1 out of 240. The car now shows just over 32,000 original miles.

This 911 Carrera remains wholly original in terms of its exterior paint outside of a very small blend that was performed below the passenger headlight to remedy a light cosmetic imperfection. The area painted was less than 10 inches in diameter. Photos of the work are available and can be provided upon request. The car wears a clear bra over the entire front end to protect the factory original paint. The interior is original and immaculate. The seat bolsters and bottoms are nearly perfect and the interior remains unmodified in all capacities.
