CPR Classic is delighted to offer this 1968 Porsche 912 Coupe finished in its original color combination of Light Ivory over a Beige interior. This example remains numbers matching to include its engine, gearbox, and color combination.

This example was equipped with the following factory options:

-Ventilated Chrome Wheels (Fuchs wheels have since been installed)
-Wheel Caps with Colored Porsche Crest
-Wood Steering Wheel
-Dunlop Tires

This example received a detailed restoration by Euro Autowerks in Grand Rapids Michigan. The car arrived for restoration having been color changed to Burgundy at some point in its life. Euro Autowerks then completely disassembled the car and stripped the tub and body panels to bare metal. Metalwork was performed as necessary including the replacement of the floors on the driver's side. Following metal, the car was placed in heavy primer and thoroughly blocked to ensure straight bodywork and proper panel fitment. Following preparation, the car was painted in single-stage paint in its original shade of light ivory.

The engine and gearbox received their respective overhauls, and the car was reassembled with all-new rubbers and gaskets. The interior was completely restored and finished in its correct beige leatherette. Trim was replaced or restored as needed and the result is a lovely 912 with excellent paint, a beautiful interior, and a car that performs as good as it looks. The restoration was documented through a set of 300 photos and will be included in the sale, along with the restoration documentation from Euro Autowerks.

The Porsche 912s from 1965-1969 still offer an outstanding amount of value for the cost of entry.
