CPR Classic is delighted to offer this gorgeous 1969 Porsche 912 Coupe painted in its factory color combination of Tangerine over a black leatherette interior. This completely numbers matching 912 underwent an extensive sympathetic restoration here at CPR Classic over the past several years.

We purchased this 912 back in 2013 as a very straight, running and driving example that required sympathetic restoration. The car went into our storage facility until 2017, at which time the vehicle was disassembled, and the restoration work began. As the car was very straight with excellent gaps and a solid foundation, we chose to do a complete exterior repaint as well as an undercoating touch-up and a fresh coat of correct blackout on the undercarriage. The car retains all original body panels to include the floor pans.

After the body came out of the paint, the suspension components were refinished, and all suspension hardware was re-plated and installed on the car. The numbers-matching engine was fully overhauled with a 1720cc big bore kit, and all sheet metal and hardware were restored and installed to factory standards. The numbers matching gearbox was overhauled at our transmission shop.

The car was then sent to Autobahn interiors to have a completely new interior installed. This included all seats, door panels, headliner, dash and carpets. The gauges were sent to Palo Alto Speedometer for their respective overhauls.

Following interior, final assembly was completed, and the result is the lovely Porsche 912 presented here. The car has covered just a handful of break-in miles since completion and is being sold with a 6-Month powertrain warranty from CPR Classic.

1969 was the last year of the long-hood 912, and the only year the car was offered in a long-wheelbase configuration.
