CPR Classic is delighted to offer this 1955 Volkswagen Beetle finished in Ultra Maroon over a red leatherette interior.

This example is offered in its factory-spec look and is equipped with its original, wholly rebuilt flat-four engine. This engine is mated to the fully overhauled original 4-speed transmission. The undercarriage was also restored with refinished suspension, new shocks, all new plating, and fully overhauled brakes and hubs at all four corners.

The fresh Ultra Maroon paint presents beautifully, and all of the car's brightwork was either re-chromed or replaced during the restoration. The wheels were refinished and were painted in two-tone Ultra Maroon and White with chrome hubcaps. A set of new white-wall tires complete the look. A period-correct roof rack was added during the restoration, which really compliments the overall look of the exterior.

The interior was reupholstered in red leatherette. The steering wheel and sun visors are original. Flourishes include the added rear window slats. The carpet was also completely replaced.

The car also comes with a color-matched and fully restored AllState trailer that tows behind the bug charmingly if the next owner chooses to use it.
