1973 Porsche Stock No. 2265

911 T

Now Available from CPR Classic is likely the most original long hood 911 that we have ever acquired. This 1973.5 911T painted in silver over black interior has only covered 27,000 miles in its life. The car appears to retain all of its original paint with thickness measuring between 3 and 7 mils. The car does currently have a clear bra over the front bumper, hood, and both front fenders however we did take the time to lightly peel up a corner of the wrap on each surface to check for correct paint thickness, which it retains. Its wheels are unrestored and in superb condition, and the correctly date matched spare is in excellent, unrestored condition. The car also retains its factory chrome wheel arches and correct antenna. The car also retains the Ziebart plugs in the door jams and engine bay from when the car was rust protected likely at the dealership when it was new. The interior is in excellent shape and appears to be very original. The gauges, dash, headliner and seats are all in beautiful condition. The car also appears car retains its original velour carpet. The matching numbers engine was rebuilt and cosmetically refurbished prior to the previous owner purchasing the car. Hardware was replated or replaced as needed to give the engine a superb and correct finish. The engine produces a very impressive amount of power especially in the lower range and feels as quick as a 1973 911S if not a bit faster. It is without a doubt one of the tighest, responsive and well kept examples of a 1973 911 that we have ever acquired. At some point in the cars life the lenses and headlights were changed to Euro spec H4s and correct euro lenses. The undercarriage is unbelievable and all original in terms of the undercoating and factory paint. The collector that we purchased the car from claims that the undercarriage and engine compartment were cleaned with lemon juice to remove the light grease build up that the car has sustained over its life without harming the original undercoating. The result is beautifully preserved coarse undercoating and the original underside paint which has very lightly yellowed in some areas showing the cars outstanding patina. The trunk compartment and battery boxes are also all original and appear to have been cleaned using the same method. The battery boxes are completely corrosion free and appear to have 100 percent of their original undercoating and paint intact. To put it simply this one of the most beautifully preserved long hood 911 that we have ever seen. It's the perfect fit for any quality Porsche collection and a car that absolutely cannot be replaced. The car retains the quality of a restored car with a beautiful patina that just can not be replicated. Please inquire for more information about this stunning example.SOLD
